Light, printed
slowly.
Forme Studio makes Kumo lamps — sculptural objects of warm light, printed one at a time. Each one begins the moment you order it.
No shelves.
No overstock.
We don't keep stock. There is no warehouse, no seconds bin, no end-of-season discount. A lamp exists here for one reason — someone chose it. Then we print it, once.
A Kumo is built layer by layer, slowly. We leave the print lines visible — ribbed or woven, they are the texture, the way the light catches and softens. The making is the finish.
Every piece is a pairing: a sculpted base holding a printed shade. The pairings are fixed — we drew them to sit together. The colours are yours.
Three steps,
one piece.
From a digital sculpt to a packed box — every Kumo passes through the same quiet sequence.
Three things,
held quietly.
-
Made to order
Nothing waits in a warehouse. Your lamp is printed because you asked for it — and only then.
-
Low-waste printing
Printing adds material only where the form needs it. Almost nothing is left over.
-
Material honesty
A recycled-PLA-based filament, layer lines left visible. We celebrate how a thing is made.
